Who we are
Keep Tabs is a trading name of Angels & Cedars LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company ("we"). We run the checkup at getkeeptabs.com. For anything about your data, email hello@getkeeptabs.com or write to Angels & Cedars LLC, 202 N Cedar Ave Ste #1, Owatonna, MN 55060, USA.
What we collect and why
- Your checkup answers. Saved as you go, under a random session ID that is kept only in page memory and is not stored in a cookie or on your device. Used to show your result, send your results email, and to see which checks owners most often cannot confirm (in aggregate).
- What you enter in the results form: your email address, and optionally where the property is and what type of rental it is. Used to send you your results and the printable checklist (the service you asked for).
- Newsletter choice. If you tick the newsletter box we record that, the exact wording you agreed to, and the time. We send marketing email only to people who ticked it.
- Campaign source. If you arrived from an ad or link with tracking parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), we store those with your session.
- Analytics and advertising data, only if you accept cookies. See the cookie policy.
We do not store your IP address or full browser details with your answers or your email. We never put your email address or answers in a web address.
Legal basis
For readers in the EU or UK: we send the results email because you asked for it (performance of a contract). We send the newsletter and use analytics and advertising cookies only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We save partial checkup answers under a random ID, with no email attached, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the checkup and in understanding which checks owners most often cannot confirm; those answers are not linked to you unless you later submit the form.

Where a provider processes data in the United States, the transfer is covered by that provider's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (and the UK Extension) or by Standard Contractual Clauses in our agreement with them. The database that stores sessions and leads is located in the European Union.
How long we keep it
- Checkup sessions with no email address: deleted after 90 days.
- Leads (email and results): deleted 24 months after our last contact with you. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address on a suppression list so that we do not email you again.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email hello@getkeeptabs.com. We answer within one month. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately, without logging in.
If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law: we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you accept marketing cookies, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out. You have the right to know, delete, and correct, as above, and we will not treat you differently for exercising those rights.
